Yoghurt + extra goodies…

One breakfast idea that I have recently been going back to when I’m tight for time is natural vanilla yoghurt, plus whatever I have in my cupboard that looks good.

This morning I had swim training and only had 20 minutes to be out the door again so I added :

  • Chia seeds
  • a small mandarin
  • a handful of fruit, nut, and seed trail mix
  • a passionfruit

It was high in fibre, vitamins and probiotics, and it took less than eight minutes to make and eat!

You can add practically anything to yoghurt. Here are some ideas:

  • honey
  • fruits (eg. banana, passionfruit, apricot, plum, apple, orange, fig, etc.)
  • berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, goji berries etc.)
  • nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, pecans, etc.)
  • shredded coconut
  • maca powder
  • chia seeds
  • LSA powder

The combinations are limitless, and it tastes great too.
